DPF

Diesel Particulate Filtration (DPF) is a process that removes microscopic particles (typically in the 0.2-150 μm range) from an exhaust emission system.

Diesel Oxidation Catalyst

The Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) is designed to oxidize carbon monoxide, gas phase hydrocarbons, and the SOF fraction of diesel particulate matter to CO2 and H2O

Selective Catalytic Reduction

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is a means of converting nitrogen oxides, also referred to as NOx into diatomic nitrogen (N2) , and water (H2O) with the aid of a catalyst.

A gaseous reductant, typically anhydrous ammonia, aqueous ammonia or urea, is added to the stream of exhaust gas and is adsorbed onto a catalyst. Carbon dioxide, CO2 is a reaction product.
